Week 29
- Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds.
- The muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and the head is growing bigger to accommodate his brain
- Your baby's nutritional needs reach their peak during this trimester.
- Keep yourself and your baby well nourished with protein, vitamin C, folic acid, iron, and calcium.
- You should be able to feel your baby's movements strongly now, and be sure to let your practitioner know if you ever notice a decrease in activity.
Heartburn and constipation may be troubling you. To prevent constipation, eat a high-fiber diet, drink plenty of water, and get some regular exercise.
